I'm just saying, you would probably agree that death is the greatest teacher.

Darwin would also argue that.

I'm not exactly sure what he's claiming sorcery is.

I don't think even he knows. But if you browse this site, you realize that it almost makes Fred Phelps sound sane. Almost.

Yeah, I'm not so sure that I want to browse that site.

I've already broken your mind, and you have no dignity left, so what's stopping you?

You thought Dylan's wolf shirt (and yes, he has one) was awesome? How about a wolf headdress. It gets all the chicks. All the chicks in fur bikinis.

I don't own a wolf shirt. You know this. And you are a liar.

There has to be a story behind that picture.

The story is "It was the 70s". There is no other explanation needed.

And you do own a wolf shirt. I've seen you at Wal-Mart in it.

I'm not sure why anyone should believe I have a wolf shirt, especially when it's a known liar making the claim.

It's precisely because I'm a known liar. Being "known" as a liar (by which you mean you spread that slanderous rumor about me), I'm more likely to tell the truth, because no one would believe it anyway.

Except that you're lying about the wolf shirt. If I owned a wolf shirt and wore it to Wal-mart, I would admit to it freely. If I did not wish to admit to owning a shirt to the general public, I would not wear it out in public.

Incidentally, this is the reason that I can only bring myself to wear my Star Trek uniform t-shirt at cons.

You have a lot of things you don't admit freely. Don't get me started on those.

And I know you have a wolf shirt, because I've seen you at Wal-Mart with it on.

This is sort of a disturbing article. Apparently, America isn't the only culture out there to f@#$ up people's expectations of and attitude toward other people.

That it is a slice of anime/gaming culture that has caused this is ironic considering that, at least among that subculture here, the impression is that otaku culture has risen above much of what ails our culture and society.

The complete opposite of the "Double Rainbow" guy.

20 years ago, water sprinklers didn't cause rainbows. What is the government putting in our water supply? What is the government putting in our air supply? What is oozing out of the ground that causes this phenomenon?

I saw this guest post on author Donald Miller's blog and thought it was spot on. I had to post it somewhere, although it's a little bit serious for our usual fare in this thread.

"I think the current cultural messaging that tells women it’s attractive to play dumb and fragile and hope that they’re saved by their beauty is incredibly destructive."
